- USCGC POINT GLASS WPB-82336 Named in January 1964
- POINT GLASS (Research Vessel) Transferred to the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) upon decommissioning
- POINT GLASS (Training Ship) Sold to Point Glass LLC in 2006 to support the Sea Scout program on the Texas Gulf Coast, part of the Boy Scouts of America,
[Note: Although the U.S. Coast Guard may use "WPB-82336" in its documentation, the identification painted
on the ship's hull would have been "CG 82336" (as seen in standard photos of the class for that time period).]
Decommissioned 3 April 2000
in order to teach navigation and seamanship skills

The Point Glass LLC website appears to be gone (2024).

If more than one postmark has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest known usage.
A postmark should not be included unless accompanied by a close-up image and/or an
image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN
THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.
