Naval Covers

USS MOUNT VERNON has earned the Joint Meritorious Unit Award Ribbon, the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon, the Navy Battle "E" Ribbon (2 awards), the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (3 awards), the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal (2 awards), the Coast Guard Special Operations Service Medal and the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait) during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - Named for the home of George Washington.
