Ship Commemorative - USS Arizona BB-39 |
Cachet is thermographed with silver ink. Note that this cachet is very similar but still different from the USS Arizona commemorative cachet of 1937-02-22. Center symbol is the Great Seal of the State of Arizona. This same cachet was used on 1937-11-01 except it used black ink instead of silver ink. Note that there is a small R between the ship wheel and the photo, near the bottom. Not sure what this represents.
