CD-7 -- "OPSAIL '80" POSTMARKS (1980)
Made by collectors in the Boston, Mass. area for OPSAIL '80, a gathering of Tall Ships (sailing vessels) in Boston during June, 1980, and used aboard nine Navy ships that visited for the event. Most cancels have the date June 4, 1980 molded as part of the device, but the date format varies in some.

USS BARNEY DDG-6, USS BARRY DD-933, USS EDSON DD-946, USS FARRAGUT DDG-37, USS GARCIA FF-1040, USS JOHN F. KENNEDY CV-67, USS JOHN HANCOCK DD-981, USS RICHMOND K. TURNER CG-20 and USS SAMPSON DDG-10.
USS MANITOWOC LST-1180, the reviewing ship, used a similar postmark, but slightly smaller and without the sailing ship decoration.
