image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN
THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.

USS Lake Shore received the following award during her WWI Naval service - World War I Victory Medal (with Transport clasp)
NAMESAKE - TAGANAK - An island in the Philippines.
USS Taganak received the following awards during her WWII Naval service - Combat Action Ribbon - American Campaign Medal - Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal - World War II Victory Medal.
