Postmarks

AS-6. Last Day in Commission. This A.E. Gorham cachet is for the First Day of Issue (FDOI) of the Red Cross stamp which was issued on May 21, 1931, but the FDOI text has been lined through.

NAMESAKE - Named for the city of Camden, New Jersey

Two ships in the US Navy have borne this name - USS Camden IX-42/AS-6 and USS Camden AOE-2.
