Other Information
USS LARAMIE earned the Combat Action Ribbon, the American Defense Service Medal w/ Fleet clasp, the American Campaign Medal, the Europe-Africa-Middle East Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.
NAMESAKE - A river in northern Colorado and southeastern Wyoming that enters the North Fork of the Platte River at Fort Laramie, Wyo.
Two ships of the US Navy have borne the name LARAMIE - USS Laramie AO-16 and USNS Laramie T-AO-203.
