Other Information
USS ALGORMA earned the American Defense Service Medal (with Fleet clasp), the American Campaign Medal, the Europe-Africa-Middle East Campaign Medal (w/ 1 Battle star) and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.
NAMESAKE - Named for an Indian word meaning to fish with a torch
