John Paul Jones Chapter #2 (ex-Pacific Northwest Ch #2 USCS)

Composition: members in the Seattle, Washington area Organized in April 1933 (Bulletin #15); named John Paul Jones Chapter (Bulletin #16) in May 1933, received its charter June 1, 1933. Permanent officers elected June 11, 1933. Initially JPJ Chapter met with the Seattle Stamp Society and probably spun off from that organization. The Chapter started with six members and, at the close of its first year, had 49 members (not including 12 in Oregon who later formed their own chapter). The Chapter apparently ceased operations at the end of 1945.
