Cachet Maker USCS Chapter 2 John Paul Jones
Cachets should be listed in chronological order based on earliest known usage. Use
the postmark date or best guess. This applies to add-on cachets as well.
John Paul Jones Chapter #2 (ex-Pacific Northwest Ch #2 USCS)
Composition: members in the Seattle, Washington area
Organized in April 1933 (Bulletin #15); named John Paul Jones Chapter (Bulletin #16) in May 1933, received
its charter June 1, 1933. Permanent officers elected June 11, 1933. Initially JPJ Chapter met with the Seattle
Stamp Society and probably spun off from that organization. The Chapter started with six members and, at the
close of its first year, had 49 members (not including 12 in Oregon who later formed their own chapter). The
Chapter apparently ceased operations at the end of 1945.

It looks like D.C. Bartley serviced this cover. It is unclear what role, if any, D.D. Jagyi had with the cachet.
