Commissioned March 30 1919 - Decommissioned November 25 1919
Transferred November 25 1919 to United States Shipping Board


3. SS EMPRESS OF CHINA (Passenger Liner)
Chartered July 1920 by the Canadian Pacific Line
2 August 1921 renamed EMPRESS OF CHINA but never sailed with this name


4. SS EMPRESS OF INDIA (Passenger Liner)
Renamed EMPRESS OF INDIA several weeks later
Starting August 25, 1921, the SS Empress of India was briefly chartered to Cunard before returning to Canadian Pacific Line


5. SS MONTLAURIER (Passenger Liner)
Renamed to SS MONTLAURIER in 1923


6. SS MONTEITH (Passenger Liner)
Renamed to SS MONTEITH in June 1925, but she never sailed with this name


7. SS MONTNAIRN (Passenger Liner)
Renamed to SS MONTNAIRN in July 1925

Sold December 1929 for scrap. Scrapped in Genoa, Italy

 

Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. There should be a separate set of pages for each name of the ship (for example, Bushnell AG-32 / Sumner AGS-5 are different names for the same ship so there should be one set of pages for Bushnell and one set for Sumner).
