USS SACRAMENTO earned the World War I Victory Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 1 Battle Star and the World War II Victory medal during her Naval service.
USS SACRAMENTO was at Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941
NAMESAKE - Named for the city of Sacramento, California
Three ships of the US Navy have borne the name SACRAMENTO - USS Sacramento (1862 Sloop), USS Sacramento PG-19
and USS Sacramento AOE-1.
The ships sponsor was Miss Phoebe Briggs.
