Note: The USS Chaumont left San Diego on 08/30/37 and arrived in Shanghai China on 09/19/37. 21 days in transit! She was carrying the 6th Regiment USMC to go assist the 4th Marines already in Shanghai. Together, the 4th Marines and the 6th Marines made up the 2nd Marine Brigade. Cachet signed by A.J.
