Conflicting History Data
There is disagreement regarding the Brazilian names of the ship and its final disposition.
NavSource says its final name is "ITAJAI"
(and has a photo of the ship with this name painted on the bow).
It does not list "RAZA" with a designation of "Ri-1". It claims that the ship was "scrapped in 1971".
The Navios de Guerra Brasileiros (Brazilian Warships) page for RAZA says
the ship first had designation "Ri-1" before "G-19" but gives no dates.
It also says the final name is "ESSO ITAJAÍ".
It says: RAZA was sold by Brazil in 1971 to Brasilmar - Meridional de Navegación Ltda., which operated for ESSO, and renamed.
Reportedly in operation until 1995
The Shipbuildinghistory.com page for "T-1 Tankers" (last updated in 2008) says:
Klaskanine "AOG 63, to Brazil 1946 as Raza (G 19), now Itajai, abandoned in Porto Alegre [Brazil]"
I can find no entry for ITAJAI or ESSO ITAJAI in Lloyd's Register of Shipping but I chose ITAJAI given the photographic evidence.
Note there actually is an entry in Lloyd's for "ITAJAI" but it is for a different ship.
This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. There should be a separate set of pages for each name of the ship (for example, Bushnell AG-32 / Sumner AGS-5 are different names for the same ship so there should be one set of pages for Bushnell and one set for Sumner). Covers should be presented in chronological order (or as best as can be determined).
Since a ship may have many covers, they may be split among many pages so it doesn't take forever for the pages to load. Each page link should be accompanied by a date range for covers on that page.

USS KLASKANINE earned the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.
NAMESAKE - A river in the state of Oregon.
The ships sponsor was Mrs. Thomas Harris.
