Sold to W.N. MacDonald of Sydney, Nova Scotia in late 1945
Converted in 1949 to a stationary power plant for a mining development near Mabou, Nova Scotia.

NavSource also has the following entry:
"Registered in 1927 to The George W. Rogers Contracting Corp. of New York, NY as the tug Edith M. III"
but Lloyd's Register Of Yachts lists ownership by Peter W. Rouse from 1922 to 1927, Vincent Astor 1928-1929, Russel A Alger 1930, and Cornelius Vanderbilt from 1931 to at least 1939.

Postmarks

This section lists examples of the postmarks used by the ship. There should be a separate set of postmarks for each incarnation of the ship (ie, for each entry in the "Ship Name and Designation History" section). Within each set, the postmarks should be listed in order of their classification type. If more than one postmark has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest known usage.

A postmark should not be included unless accompanied by a close-up image and/or an image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.
