If more than one postmark has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest known usage.

A postmark should not be included unless accompanied by a close-up image and/or an image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.

RALPH TALBOT earned 12 Battle Stars for WWII Service

RALPH TALBOT was at Pearl Harbor December 7 1941

NAMESAKE - Second Lieutenant Ralph Talbot USMC (January 6 1897 – October 25 1918)
Lt. Ralph Talbot was the first United States Marine Corps aviator to be awarded the Medal of Honor for "exceptionally meritorious service and extraordinary heroism" on October 8 1918 while attached to Squadron C, 1st Marine Aviation Force, in France during World War I.
Lt Talbot died on October 25 1918, when his plane crashed on takeoff.
