USS CULGOA earned the Philippine Campaign Medal, the Mexican Service Medal, the Haitian Campaign Medal, the Dominican Republic Campaign Medal and the World War I Victory Medal (with Transport Clasp) during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - A merchant name retained. (perhaps Culgoa, Australia)
