GOLD STAR

USS GOLD STAR earned the Combat Action Ribbon, the American Defense Service Medal (with Fleet Clasp), the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 1 Campaign star, the World War II Victory Medal, the Navy Occupation Service Medal (with Asia Clasp) and the Philippines Liberation Medal during her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - Former name retained.
