Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. CLEVELAND has earned the Combat Action Ribbon (2 awards), the Joint Unit Meritorious Award Ribbon, the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, the Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbons (3 awards), the Navy Battle "E" Ribbon (8 awards), the National Defense Service Medal (2 awards), the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (3 awards), the Vietnam Service Medal (w/ 9 Campaign stars), the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Humanitarian Service Medal (1 award), the Coast Guard Commendation Ribbon (with Operational Distinguishing device), the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation Ribbon (3 awards), the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Kuwait Liberation Medal (Kuwait) so far in her Naval career.

NAMESAKE - Named for the city of Cleveland, Ohio
