image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN
THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.

Other Information
USS NANSHAN earned the Philippines Campaign Medal, the Mexican Service Medal and the World War I Victory Medal during her Naval career.
NAMESAKE - The Chinese word meaning “south mountain” and refers to a small group of mountains in Kwangtung Province.
