   Severely damaged in Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and Decommissioned June 20 1942
   Salvaged equipment from her hulk was taken to Mare Island where DOWNES was completely rebuilt in a new hull 1942-43
   Recommissioned November 15 1943 - Decommissioned December 17 1945
   
   Stricken January 28 1947
   Sold November 18 1947 and broken up for scrap
