Naval Covers

This section lists active links to the pages displaying covers associated with the ship. There should be a separate set of pages for each name of the ship (for example, Bushnell AG-32 / Sumner AGS-5 are different names for the same ship so there should be one set of pages for Bushnell and one set for Sumner). Locy Type 3 (BTT) "LAST DAY / ALOHA" Submarine Division 9

Cachet by Richard Buchwald, sponsored by Argonauts Crew No. 24, ANCS. Cachet lists the submarines of Submarine Division 9 - USS S-30 SS-135, USS S-31 SS-136, USS S-32 SS-137, USS S-33 SS-138, USS S-34 SS-139, and USS S-35 SS-140.

 

Other Information

USS S-31 SS-136 earned the Yangtze Service Medal, the American Defense Service Medal (with Sea Clasp), the American Campaign Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal w/ 1 Battle star and the World War II Victory Medal during her Naval career.

The ship's sponsor was Mrs. George A. Walker
