Addressed to Passed Assistant Surgeon B. Robertson Ward. It was sent from New Haven on June 3rd, 1897 c/o B. F. Stevens in London, where it arrived on June 12th. The ship not being there, it was forwarded to Smyrna, Turkey and backstamped in Smyrna on June 21st.
