Postmarks

Within each set, the postmarks should be listed in order of their classification type. If more than one postmark has the same classification, then they should be further sorted by date of earliest known usage.
A postmark should not be included unless accompanied by a close-up image and/or an
image of a cover showing that postmark. Date ranges MUST be based ONLY ON COVERS IN
THE MUSEUM and are expected to change as more covers are added.

TREVER DMS-16 was at Pearl Harbor December 7 1941
NAMESAKE - Lieutenant Commander George Arthur Trever (June 11 1885 – October 14 1918)
Trever was an officer in the United States Navy in the early 1900s. On October 5 1918, during post-commissioning trials, an explosion occurred on board USS O-5, in which Trever and a crewman were injured. Nine days later, at the naval hospital, Brooklyn, New York, Lt. Comdr. Trever died as a result of the severe and multiple injuries suffered in the shipboard tragedy.
